Linda & Lee Silverstein - WE Have Cancer

Meet Lee and Linda

In 2011, just four months after they began dating, Lee was diagnosed with Stage 2 colon cancer. A year and a half later, 17 days after their honeymoon, they learned that Lee’s cancer had spread to his liver; he was now Stage 4. Through numerous surgeries, chemotherapy infusions and assorted other treatments, Linda has been by his side.

These years have also brought Lee & Linda great joy as they watched their children graduate college, get engaged and get married. They’ve also brought them two wonderful grandsons. Despite cancer, Lee and Linda say unequivocally these have been the best years of their lives.

Lee and Linda live in Florida with their Westie Terrier, Fergie.

Testimonials

You are not alone, so many people have been inspired from your podcasts and I'm sure that so many people in the world thinking of you at this difficult time for you and your family. I have been listening to your pod casts since Oct 2018 from the time I first developed metastatic cancer in my liver from colon cancer which was diagnosed & operated on August 2018.. I'm so lucky to be able to listen your program as not so many Japanese people are able to understand your English program.. Keep strong, keep your faith and battle onward.

What I love about the podcast is the ability to transcend print and hear the stories of survivors come to life. The emotion and honesty with which your guests share is priceless, and I know for me it's inspirational to hear a verbal representation of that.
